A prayer for Walking the Way
Lord of all,
as you walked this earth sharing love, grace and mercy,
we pray that we will place our footsteps in yours
and walk where you lead
as we live out your life in our daily living
for Jesus’ sake,
Amen.

Using your prayer cord
1. Tie your prayer cord in seven knots, praying a line of the Walking the Way prayer at each knot. For groups, each member could use their own prayer cord as everyone prays together.
2. Use your prayer cord as a bracelet, praying as it is put on. It can then be shown and used as a conversation starter during encounters in your day.
3. Your prayer cord can be tied as a necklace. Pray as it is put on, then use it as a reminder throughout your day that your discipleship is always your walk with Jesus.
4. Tie your prayer cord as an ornament on something you use often, like a water bottle. It can then be used as a regular reminder of how your personal discipleship is always within the footsteps of Jesus.
Other ways We would love to hear from those who have found other ways to use the prayer cords in their own discipleship and want to share their ideas with others.
