Special Laksmi Mantras

As vakrante rathahkrante vis n u krante vasundhara

s irasa dharayis ya mi raks asvamam pade pade

Oh Goddess earth-supporter of all life, you are one who silently supports all majestic striding horses and chariots (all moving-sentient

beings and insentient vehicles etc.) across vast labyrinth of paths. (Ever secure in your support never feeling the weight, nor would you

complain with your infinite patience) (I prayerfully walk with gratitude upon your sacred back, I go lightly

and with care.) As I walk I stop to bow and place my head upon your wondrous self,

with each step a prayer in my heart arises, Oh Goddess protect me! Oh Goddess protect me!

Om Hreem Shreem Daaridryanaashinyai namah

Daaridrya= poverty and feeling of unworthiness or worthlessness. Nashini= destroyer

She who destroys poverty and the attitude of poverty. Devotees ever seeing her as the infinite given. They see the infinite given as they’re

very self. Infinite wealth is I. The one who blesses us with this knowledge is Goddess.

The Vedic vision of Mother Earth

In the Vedic view, Goddess – Mother Earth is not an inert thing to be plundered thoughtlessly without consciously renewing her resources, and giving back in kind. She is a live vibrant infinitely compassionate Goddess who is this sacred earth, manifest in all forms of wealth, fortune, prosperity

and nourishment (she is the material cause of the universe but never separate from the infinite knowledge cause), as understood in the "Gaia theory", but

much more complete and profound in the Vedic vision. This whole universe including my body-mind complex is within awareness; like wave is within water, wave is water but water is independently existent apart from wave. What we call subtle and gross are mutually dependent and only concepts of the aware-full-intellect. This intellect lives/has it’s being and

is "aware-full" due to borrowed existence and awareness. The intellect is made of subtle-material and has no sentience of its own. I-awareness is self-

evident un-negatable “I”. Subtleness and grossness or in other words un-manifest and manifest are but concepts existing within limitless-being, which is the independent self-evident non-concept! Which can only be you! You

(as witness-awareness) are the only source of existence-awareness. Please try to refute this self-evident fact! Every form name and function is imbued with

infinite-intelligent-order (including disorder) from quarks to quasars from microcosm to macrocosm all is one conscious being. There is not one

Goddess, not many goddesses, there is Only Goddess! Nothing can be taken for granted not the air we breathe nor water or our sun, without which, no life exists! Nivedanam = the Acknowledgment of all The infinite given is recognized and given back to the giver with heart and soul, reflecting the way She gives in completeness to us. This is called Yajna in Sanskrit. To make this attitude an abiding one, we must employ words and actions,

which proclaim explicitly that I don't take these given elements/ life giving nourishments for granted and that I am deeply grateful for the infinite given. Yajno Vai Vishnuh! This whole Cosmos is nothing but Sacred Sacrifice back to the infinite giver, the final sacrifice is through knowledge the sacrifice of

the one who sacrifices! In this the I sense and My sense get destroyed through self knowledge and Isvara alone is.
