The Independence Day Celebration was observed with jest and fervor at

Smt. S. R. Patel Engineering on 15th

August 2012. A large number of stu-dents were present along with staff

members to mark this event. Event was conducted in the gracious presence of

Honourable Chairman Shri. Ramesh H.

Patel, Vice-Chairman Shri. Chirag R. Patel, Executive Director Shri. Kalpesh

R. Patel and Principal Dr. Ami H. Shah.

The function began at 09:15 A.M. with march-past and unfurling the national

soul-stirring speech regarding the inde-pendence struggle, present scenario

and the role of the students in this con-

text, she also elaborated about the tree plantation event, “Vasundhara-2012”.

the staff members, explain them the importance of celebrating the Independence day and plantation event in our own life. The Independence Day celebration was

culminated with National Anthem.\

At around 10:00 A.M. the Tree Plantation Event, “ Vasundhara-2012” was inaugu-

rated by Shri. Ramesh H. Patel, through planting a sapling in the campus. Next a

number of saplings were planted by Principal and senior faculty members. Around

100 saplings were planted during this noble event by the staff members and stu-

dents. The complete event received an enthusiastic support from the whole student

and staff members. The celebration was accomplished with a refreshment and tea

offered by college management.
