� Educate, assist, advise, and support our Jewish chaplaincy students and colleagues.

� Provide education and support to non-Jewish supervisors as they help develop their Jewish student’s pastoral identity and authority.

� Explore appropriate and open-minded clinical options when a cultural or religious boundary is in question.

� Create a code of understanding for non-Jewish supervisors, i.e., what is acceptable and not acceptable to require or encourage Jewish students/chaplains to do as part of their clinical functioning.
