Jane SheffieldECOMP 5007

We write friendly letters to people we know well. We might write a friendly letter to our parents, our grandparents, or our friends.

1234 Ridge LaneMarietta, Georgia 30068July 16, 2010Dear Ann,How has your summer been? Not too hot I hope. Did you have fun visiting your parents in St. Augustine? Ive heard that St. Augustine is a beautiful historic city by the beach.Im enjoying my second week in North Carolina visiting my brother. He and his family just moved to a house in the mountains. Yesterday we went hiking to the top of Pilot Mountain, and tomorrow we are planning to go canoeing on the river. Its a lot cooler here than back home in Georgia.Im looking forward to seeing you soon. I have so much to tell you!Your friend,Susan
