sugar, not petrochemicals l ike many other
synthetic carpet f ibres.

p ro d u c t i o n o f S o ro n a ® a re 6 3 % l o w e r
compared to the product ion of an equal
amount of nylon 6 (CISO standard 14040)*.
Our feltexgreen™ Triexta carpets also use
carpet backing that is manufactured from
80% recycled content.

Bio-PDO™ (the key ingredient
in Sorona®).
3. The Bio-PDO™ enters a
revolutionary process to
become Sorona® polymer.
4. Feltex Carpets extrudes
the Sorona® polymer into
Triexta yarn.
5. All feltexgreen™ carpet
is manufactured using
Triexta yarn.
6. The finished feltexgreen™
carpet is distributed by Feltex
the manufacturer, through
New Zealand carpet retail
stores. This is not a parallel
imported product.
7. The carpet is installed in the
home environment.
