A Church for All Seasons

The theme for our 2018 Stewardship Campaign is “A Church for All Seasons,” and our symbol, or logo, is the tree. As members of the DCPC family, we are committed to financial stewardship in support of God’s work, and as an Earth Care Congregation, we are committed to the stewardship of creation and our world. What better way to express all our areas of stewardship than the tree, firmly rooted in God’s good earth, flourishing and regenerating throughout all the seasons of the year.

Like that tree, the church flourishes and regenerates throughout its seasons, and most importantly, the church is there to support and love us through both good and difficult times, through the seasons of our lives.

To keep you mindful of our commitment to stewardship throughout the year, we plan to distribute white dogwood seedlings to our church family on Mothers’ Day, Sunday, May 14, to be planted in your yard or in a pot for your deck or patio. Watch the seedling as it grows and changes in the different seasons, and as you care for and attend to your tree, be reminded that the church requires your care and attention in order for it to thrive.

We urge you to give prayerful consideration of your financial commitment to support the church and its mission and ministry.

This congregation celebrates partnerships in Christ with the Sigona Presbyterian Church in Kikuyu, Kenya, and the Kilambe communities in Jinotega, Nicaragua and Blythe Elementary
