Galaxy® Flex has been developed based on the proven Honeywell Galaxy platform. It offers you optimum flexibility, convenience and performance, and above all peace of mind in securing your premises simply and effectively.

Not only is the Galaxy® Flex system simple to use, it is scalable too, so it can easily be adapted to grow as your business evolves over time (up to 100 zones).

It also offers a flexible range of communication options for connecting with the system complemented by an attractive range of interfaces and sensors.

Flexibility by design

MK8 keypad: The clean, contemporary design of the MK8 makes it ideal for users wanting a modern-looking keypad in their premises.

MK7 keypad: With a functional robust design and protective cover, the MK7 is perfect for harsh environments such as small industrial premises and garages.

TouchCenter: With its large, colour graphical display, the Galaxy TouchCenter makes even the most elaborate of Flex systems easy to control. The touch screen makes it quick and easy to train staff members on its use and it will complement the most prestigious of offices, reception areas or homes.



Easy to operate and maintain

With prox tag identification, users don’t need to remember a PIN code, thus reducing user errors, false alarms and potentially unnecessary call-outs.

The range of intuitive Honeywell keypads or touchscreen will ensure your Galaxy Flex system is simple to operate.

Access levels can be easily controlled and set for different groups of personnel using templates and schedules that can be programmed to activate automatically. Simple touch-and-go readers allow personnel to gain access to assigned parts of a building.

People in charge of security can also use the readers to arm and disarm the intruder alarm functions, giving maximum flexibility with no added complications.

Save money by reducing false alarms

Convenient remote connectionTo ensure your system operates consistently at its optimum level, the connectivity options provided by Galaxy Flex enable your alarm engineer to verify the status of your system remotely between services.

The scheduled services can then be carried out more efficiently, further minimising disruption to your business.

You can also easily check the status of your alarm system for yourself from a remote location; simply log-on via a PC to a dedicated secure interface where you can even arm and disarm it too.

In addition, if you require your alarm to be monitored remotely, the Galaxy Flex system can also communicate with Alarm Receiving Centres (ARCs) to offer total peace of mind with around the clock response.

Audio alarm verification also lets the ARC operator connect immediately by phone to your panel to listen to the situation at your premises, verify the cause of the alarm and respond accordingly. This minimises false alarms and inconvenience to you.


Flexible communication options for optimum securityWith the multiple communications options offered with Galaxy Flex, you can minimise the impact on your business by using your existing communications networks. Galaxy Flex can operate either via IP, PSTN, ISDN, GSM or GPRS, minimising disruption, reducing installation time and providing maximum flexibility for communications and security. If multiple communications options are fitted you have the reassurance that your intrusion system will continue to work should one of the paths (e.g. the telephone (PSTN) line) be tampered with.

Minimise disruption to your businessWhen it comes to installing your alarm system, we know you want it to be done quickly and with minimum disruption. If cabling the alarm system proves to be impractical for your premises, you can always take the wireless option!

Galaxy Flex offers the flexibility of wired and wireless in one system without compromising reliability thanks to Honeywell’s proven bi-directional radio and agile routing technologies.

The wireless system enables wireless sensors to be placed in areas where cables would be impractical or expensive thus avoiding disruption to your décor and daily business. The additional benefit of the wireless option is that it makes it even quicker and easier to install and maintain the amount of on-site servicing needed, saving you inconvenience.
