Five years ago, Sikh Channel was born, spreading the message that our Guru Ji’s left behind, bringing Sikhi Prachar into the twenty first century and revolu-tionising Sikh Media as we know it. And once again the world’s first Sikh Chan-nel entered Downing Street.
“Congratulations to the Sikh Channel on its 5th Anniversary of Broadcasting from
the United Kingdom.”
The UK Prime Minister congratulated the Sikh Channel on its 5th year of broadcasting. David Cameron held his annual Vaisakhi celebrations at 10 Downing Street, inviting the Sikh com-munity into his home for the fourth year running.

Sikh Channel would like to extend a huge and sincere thank you, to all the sangat and sewedars for your support and commitment during the Sri Akhand Path Sahib, to celebrate our fifth birthday.
It started as a small beacon of light and now that light has spread to all four corners of the globe. Sikh Channel is pleased to celebrate its 5th anniversary since it com-menced broadcasting.
Like all worthwhile projects, a good team is essential and without the support of our most valued team members, the sangat, the channel would not be where it is today. Every Sri Akhand Path Sahib is special and the continuous recital of Gurbani for three days non-stop is so significant in strengthening our connection to Wahe-guru.
The Sikh Channel was created to serve the panth and with Waheguru’s blessing, we have been able to more than just sewa but we have been able to create a family of millions of Sikhs around the world.
Now we have a duty to reinforce that bond with the sangat, in order to serve you in the best possible way. It is through your continued support and participation that

Name: Kanwalpreet SinghJob Title: Intern from Holland Kanwalpreet is a young innovative stu-dent from the Netherlands who came to the UK, Sikh Channel to write her dissertation. She is an intern at the Sikh Channel who is staying with the team for six months. Through this research, she will try to improve the internal organization (Sikh Channel) and wants to make the cooperation smoother. With the strong management back-ground she will be able to achieve her goals so we as one team can provide better service to the Sikh Panth. Sikh Channel offers a range of opportunities for the youth here in the UK and across the world. ‘’Sikh Channel gave me the opportunity to learn and understand their way of connecting with the Sikh communi-ties around the world. I am new to Sikh Channel but it feels like home already.
I am 100% sure, while working here I will learn more about our faith and will gain more experience in a different field. It’s important to know that everyone at Sikh Channel is working hard to bring the Sikh community together.’’
