GC Corporation and Professor Ian Meyers present

Managing the Worn Dentition, and Fibre-reinforced Composite Resin Bridges. A two day hands-on training course at the world class training facilities at GC Corporation, Tokyo.

Day 1 Fibre-reinforced Composite Resin Bridges

This hands-on course covers indirect posterior bridges, direct anterior bridges and basic layering techniques for optimum aesthetics. Fibre-reinforced bridges have gained increasing acceptance, offering a combination of good aesthetics and high fracture toughness while using cost-effective minimally invasive techniques.

Day 2 Managing the Worn Dentition

The complexity and cost of treating extensively worn and broken down dentition presents a challenge for both dentists and patients who are looking for solutions to stop the repeat restoration cycle. This course progresses through clinical diagnosis and strategies for managing the oral environment, to restoration using new techniques and materials undertaken as practical exercises in the simulation clinic.

About the presenterProfessor Ian Meyers is currently in general dental practice in Brisbane and has honorary professorial positions with The University of Queensland School of Dentistry, and James Cook University School of Medicine and Dentistry. He is a product consultant to a range of dental companies, a member of the International Association for Dental Research, Chairman of the Australian Dental Research Foundation and a member of the editorial board of The Australian Dental Journal.

Course LocationGC Corporation 3-2-14 Hongo, Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo

The GC Corporate Centre opened in March 2011 as a communication forum for dental professionals involved in all areas of dental care. Floors 5-8 are visitor floors with fully equipped hands-on and lecture facilities designed to simulate the experience of dental materials in a clinical environment.
