WHAT OUR STUDENTS AND ALUMNI HAVE TO SAY ABOUT OUR SPECIALIST LLM IN EUROPEAN LAW

‘Having completed an LLB in English & European Law, I wanted to further specialise in EU Law while also being able to continue my part-time work at a London-based European NGO. The King’s LLM in European Law gave me this fl exibility.

I was attracted to the wide variety of EU Law modules off ered by the programme, as well as King’s affi liation with the well-respected Centre of European Law. This provides students with unique access to EU related extracurricular activities, and has given me the opportunity to attend several important debates and conferences.

Modules are taught by respected experts of EU Law and include a number of guest lectures by practitioners, providing excellent networking opportunities that are invaluable when looking to establish or further a career in the EU institutions, government legal service or academia.

The LLM community at King’s is diverse, international, and extremely sociable. All in all, the LLM at King’s is certainly a recommended experience for anyone interested in EU Law.’

    LENA-BRID DONNER, GERMANY

‘ After qualifying as a lawyer in Italy, I felt compelled to broaden my professional knowledge so I decided to pursue a specialist LLM in EU Law. I applied to King’s as its academic reputation in EU Law is outstanding; a view echoed by many professionals working in the fi eld.

Once at King’s, I learnt that its reputation is well deserved. I was in the company of outstanding academics and undertaking extremely challenging and interesting modules. The highest academic standards are complemented with a hands-on approach, making the overall experience ideal preparation for returning to the marketplace.’
