ACADEMY OF THEMOST BLESSED SACRAMENT... a step ahead in scholarship, service, community and message.

A STEP AHEAD

CommunityLeadership

Student leaders are developed in a welcoming culture based on mutual respect, apprecia-tion and consideration for one another. Younger children are paired with upper elementary and middle school students for curricular and extra-cur-ricular school activities.

As students grow and mature, they become leaders who set the example and guide the younger children in our school community, one ex-ample of which is “With One Voice,” a student-led charac-ter education program.

ServiceHelping Others

AMBS students develop char-acter, social responsibility and teamwork through volunteer work and service projects. Students participate in char-itable drives, assemble care packages for the homeless and partner with Our Lady of Guadalupe School in Eliz-abeth.

Service is school-wide. Stu-dents not only provide goods and donations, but also visit patients, perform for senior citizens and share their ex-periences with the school-at-large.

Active Catholicity

The Gospel values are at the core of everything we do at AMBS. Education is routed in the Catholic tradition of de-veloping mind, body and soul, and encouraging students to bring out the best they can of-fer to others.

Children participate in stu-dent-led Prayer Circles, form lasting Prayer Partner rela-tionships and attend Mass and other liturgical services together as a school.

We welcome children of all religious faiths.

Living the Message AcademicsBlue Ribbon School

AMBS has been selected as a Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Educa-tion. Our school is one of just five dozen elementary schools in all of New Jersey to earn the designation, having achieved “superior standards of academic excellence.”

We offer a 10:1 student to teacher ratio, which allows for differentiated and individ-ualized instruction. AMBS is home to an experienced facul-ty. All classroom teachers are certified and many hold Mas-ter’s degrees.
