Although not a very accentuated character throughout the play, Steve Hubbell was actually a pretty vital one.

He’s actually more of an important protagonist then accredited for.

In an essence he actually sets the tone for a lot of the plot taking place.

As well as the rest of the “poker players” of the Steve is depicted to be a

masculine rugged looking fellow, physical apparent strength. It states he’s a smoker as well. His clothes is

referred to as “containing soft pastel colours, which are generally colours

worn by women.”
