Workshops will include strong self-esteem building components and address respect and consent. A must-do workshop for ev-ery teen before leaving the nest! FOR TEENSKEYNOTE ADDRESS: KATEY MCPHERSONFrom babies to tweens and teens, screens have become a dominant part of our families and schools. As parents and educators, how do we determine:• how much is too much?• what the social and emotional ramifications
are of the access we give?• how do we protect kids online as they
meander the abyss of fun and exciting activities offered?
This session will outline the hidden nuances and dangers of digital access as well as the dilemma of problematic overuse of devices. Practical tips and strategies for balance will be provided as immediate takeaways, to implement in the home and at school.
