A thief shouting "thief, thief!" The latest blameshow of AIM gate

    {It takes so many years for the PAP to finallyacknowledge and agree with paper qualificationsalone are not a ticket to success. The hard truthand verdict of current AIM gate can also bediscovered later, the sooner the better in 2016.}

There is a Chinese saying (Zi hn zhuzi) perhaps can best describe the AIM dilemmathat PAP is facing. A thief is shouting and cryingfor attention for others to catch a thief. With thepro-government main stream media, A thiefshouting thief, thief! has received good coveragein Singapore. However, this is only one side of the

    story from the PAP.

But a thief is a thief. Nevertheless, for theinterest of all, the thief should not stop behavinglike a police. It is playing with fire and theconsequence is beyond everyones imagination.

From the release of MND Town Council ReviewReport, to the parliament debates, ministerialstatement, up to the latest Dr Teo Ho Pins seriousquestions, have Singaporeans learnt anything fromthe AIM gate? Do we have a clearer picture of whatis going on? It seems we are all trapped in solving aPSLE math paper a simple, straight forward butdifficult and unwilling to answer question.

Blame showLets move away from the thief, thief! crying ofZei Han Zhuo Zei. A more meaningful translation

of it can be cover up one's misdeeds by shifting theblame on to others. (tw.websaru.com)

To stop the thief behaviour and to stop theshifting of blame, the Workers Party has no choicebut to issue the following statement:

"If the Minister, Dr Teo or the Ministry believe therewas any wrongdoing in WP's management of theTown Council, we invite them to make a report tothe CPIB or other relevant agencies to investigatethe matter, rather than to make these suggestionsand insinuations.

WP is telling everyone if there is a thief pleasereport to the proper authority. Shouting and cryingthief, thief! will not solve the problem. There areproper authorities that can discharge andinvestigate the reported wrong doings if there areany.

Higher moral standardI think WP is making history in Singapore bycalling for a CPIB investigation. And in Singaporepolitics, this is unusual and strange. The normalpractice is the CPIB or other government authoritieswill initiate the investigations, as small as postalfees.

Yes, if you are not a thief, what is the fear? WP hasstood very firm on this issue and it seems they havehigher moral and ethical standard than the PAP.

The new AIM show makes the PAP looks weak and

perhaps a little bit of (zi tu zi no) -to behave like a thief. (tw.websaru.com). Thebeauty of Chinese language and literature is thatwith one word, you are able to link to other

meaningful phrases. From a single word

zei,we can derive many related meanings and

expressions. (zi tu zi no) shows theugly side of the PAP and it does not mean the PAPis really a thief.

It is bad to say people are behaving (zi

tu zi no). But we have to distinguish that it isdifferent from accusing someone is a thief. It tellsthe bad intention of the person initiated the move.

After reminding the PAP not to behave like a thief,

they should further self-control their hearts.

(zi xn b s) is bent on evil-doing(tw.websaru.com). If the PAP continues practisingwith a thiefs heart, bent on evil-doing, a worst casescenario performance can be expected in the nextgeneral election.

MSM may project the positive side of the PAP,

continue the blame show, and print a no conflict

interest image in the AIM gate. However, themore they attack WP and FMSS, the moreSingaporeans will look for more details and want to

find out the truth the hard truth of town councilmanagement.

So, the thief should not rush tocry for thief, thief! The more they cry, the moreSingaporeans will try to find out the hard truth ofpolitical connections in TC management.

And so who is the one with the last laugh? The PAP,WP, oppositions, voters or foreigners. Please dontmake the AIM gate as another great joke ofSingapore as we have already obtained the verylow ranking in press freedom in the world.
