About Us
EELS (Ebullient electrical league of students) is the student association formed
by the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of G.Pulla Reddy Engineerng College
(Autonomous), Kurnool, to enhance the talents hidden inside the students. The main aim of the
association is to develop unity and interaction among all the members of the association and improve
their skills by conducting activities of all sorts (technical, literary, cultural, sports etc.).
Inaugural of EELS logo by Dr.B. Sreenivasa Reddy (Principal, GPREC)
After almost one year of most anxious waiting, the dream of having
a student association for the department has come true on the Engineers’ day of 2014. I
would consider it my duty to thank my seniors (2010-14 batch) who have sown the
seeds for this. It was their credit of organizing a National level Student Technical fest
“ELECTRICUS 2K13” successfully involving students from all the years of the
department.
In order to continue the same spirit of unity in the students, the
department association was planned to be established. After vigorous discussion
among students, the first proposal was put forth to the department on July 23rd, 2013.
Due to several agitations going on in the state and time constraints to the academic
schedule, the idea remained in the shelf.
After a gap of nearly 9 months it is brought to life once again by
the keen interest taken by our Head of the Department Dr.T.Bramhananda Reddy garu
& Sri C. Harinatha Reddy garu. I would like to thank them from the bottom of my
heart from the side of all the members of the association.
I am always thankful for them and all the faculty of the department
for providing me an opportunity to become the “Student Chair” and represent students
from all the years. I consider this more as a responsibility on my shoulders and
promise to put in my 100% effort for providing my best to all the members of EELS.
Regards,
Sriram Kasyap Meduri.

Response from the Alumni
Wow...!! EELS on ENGINEERS day
we want every engineers day (in gprec) to be special in its own way....by various innovative and fun
activities of the various functioning bodies of the student association EELS.
Bring not only technical but also fun events or programmer/sports into the schedule...
Organizers /heads of the eels (electrical and electronics league of students)...take care at every moment
while pre-planning the schedule...and mingle with your fnds, jrs, seniors.
You are the people who need to do lot of ground work...(!!)before putting the event plan/schedule on to
the desicion of the concern faculty in charge/ head of the dept...
Once the schedule of activities for sem is fixed, whatever may be the circumstances you should strictly
follow the same...( in case of holidays/ exams/bundh postpone the same to the next working day).
Any body can start any event/ programme/ association but its is the responsibility of next generation to
continue the same...with the same or even with more enthusiasm, innovative thoughts...!!
Gprec Fnds, join in the association, give ur ideas, participate and volunteer an event.Try to utilise the
opportunity..And make the EELS one of the BEST student association...whch is working for the gud of
students.
Eels members, This experience will definitely have an added value in your day to day life...
Try your best to make the association active...!
Yours
Seniors (2010-14 EEE Batch)
