Podar Trust.

Under the aegis of this division we are running skill development/ vocational training centers where extensive skill development programmes are conducted.

Our centres run both schemes established by the government, as well as advanced proprietary training courses designed by Podar Skills, keeping in mind the needs of the dynamic Job Market

It is our endeavour to provide skill development and enhancement opportunities to benefit the unemployed and under-privileged sections of society which shall enable them to improve their socio-economic status while providing them the chance to get jobs in government and private organisations.

The Anandilal Podar Trust was established in the year 1922 in the name of “Anandilal Vidya Prachar Sanstha” and under the trusteeship of Mahatma Gandhiji, Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya, Seth Jamnalal Bajaj and Seth Anandilal Podar.

Over the last many decades the trust has established more than 50 reputed educational institutions, hospitals, colleges, hostels and vocational centres.

The trust has been at the forefront of social development and education initiatives across the country for more than 90 years and holds several distinctions in the education/ skill development sector.

Interestingly "The Anandilal Podar Trust” hold’s the distinction of being the only private trust of which Mahatma Gandhiji accepted trusteeship.

Currently The Anandilal Podar Trust is registered with IGNOU, CBSE, Ministry of Labour and Employment, NCTE ( National Council for Teacher Education), Rajasthan University, NCVT and other reputed government bodies/organizations.

Programs offered by Podar Skills


1) NCVT Certified – MES Scheme Podar Skills is a registered Vocational Training

Provider(VTP) under the skill development initiative(SDI) of the Ministry of Labour and Employment.

2) Podar Skills Certified – Job Oriented Courses Podar Skills has a wide bouquet of courses that

are designed to help a candidate acquire skills that can lead to a satisfactory Job.

About the MES Scheme


A central government scheme to train approximately 1 million students every year.

The scheme is jointly implemented by various govt departments namely, RDAT, State Directorate’s, DGET and NCVT.

Training to be imparted through recognized and approved VTP’s.

Assessments to be done by independent bodies. The scheme is free for students, whose entire

money shall be refunded on successful completion of the course.

More than 1400 courses are available under various sectors.

About Podar Skills courses


Courses have been designed keeping in mind the needs of today’s dynamic job market.

Courses are aimed at making the candidate employable in reputed companies.

Certification is done by Podar Skills approved assessors.

After completion of the program the candidate is given 100% placement assistance for as long as he/she is not actually placed in a job.
