LISTEN - GOD IS SPEAKING

Scripture: I Samuel.3;

INTRO: THE DAYS OF ELI WERE A DARK PERIOD IN ISRAEL'S HISTORY. THERE WAS NO STABtE GOVERNMENT. ANARCHY SWEPT THE LAND AND MEN DID WHAT WAS RIGHT IN THEIR OWN EYES. IDOLATRY HAD LARGELY REPLACED THE WORSHIP OF GOD. RELIGIOUS AND SOME WERE EVEN CORRUPT. THE REMAINED BUT WORSHIP HAD BECOME MEANINGLESS AND HOLLOW.

GOD STILL LOVED HIS AND LONGED TO SPEAK TO THEM. BUT HOW COULD HE DO IT? MEN HAD GROWN COLD AND IT SEEMED AS IF THERE WERE ONLY ONE IN ISRAEL WHO WOULI LISTEN AND SO GOD SPEAKS TO HIM.

GOD HAS SOMETHING TO SAY TO YOU EVERY DAY OF YOUR LIFE . IN A TIME WHEN MEN NEED MORE THAN EVER BEFORE TO HEAR THE VOICE OF GOD THERE ARE SO FEW WHO WILL RE ALLY IF YOU ARE ONE OF THOSE WILLING TO LIST.lffl", CAN ASSURE YOU THAT GOD HAS SOMETHING SAY. "BUT HOW -- flt,w 'GOD TO US ?"
