November 2018
A warm welcome from Hansford Sensors
We hope you've had a great few months?
With the year coming to an end, we are pleased to announce the expansion of our triaxial vibration sensor family within the extensive product portfolio. This comes as a direct result of working alongside our valued customers to create the right solution for the required application.
Since the recent expansion of our HQ premises, we have implemented advanced tooling machinery and maximised productivity by an impressive 30%.
Strengthening our solution portfolio helps us to build on our established global footprint and enables us to continue to meet the growing international demands for diverse vibration monitoring equipment.
In the past month we have been present at 7 events in 6 different countries. It has been great catching up with our partners and meeting new ones.
Wishing you all every success!
Kind Regards,
Chris Hansford
Our Triaxial family is growingOur latest addition to the triaxial range is the HS-173RT sensor offering condition monitoring on pumps, fans, motors etc with integral temperature sensors for online systems.
With the current trend focusing on triaxial sensors, and with the modern-day data collector being able to accommodate three channels simultaneously, the demand for additional options has driven the need to incorporate additional models into this family. Which now includes an IP68 integral cable and the integral temperature sensor HS-173RT. The HS-173RT comes with features including three AC and PT100 Temperature Output, fast settling times 1 sec, compact and sealed to IP67.
Ingram races to successHansford Sensors sponsors Tom Ingram. He
finished off the British Touring Car Championship season by successfully defending his Independent
title.
The final round at Brands Hatch came down to a close fought race where Ingram tried to chase
down the overall title. Despite missing out on it, Ingram came just 12 points behind the winner.
Congratulations to Tom and the Speedworks team on yet another successful season, we can't wait for
next year!

"Understanding Intrinsically Safe"
The 'Marque' of approval goes to Hansford Sensors
Following successful growth year on year, we felt it was high time we flew the British flag in affiliation
with the highly regarded Made in Britain government endorsed campaign.
The Made in Britain Campaign is a not-for-profit organisation that supports British manufacturers under a single marque. The marque represents a
standard of quality and unity for the British manufacturing sector within the UK and around the
world.
The organisation works closely with the UK government and other groups to support skilled jobs and encourage creativity and sustainable growth. It campaigns all year round for British manufacturing.
Managing Director, Chris Hansford says "We're hoping that by joining the organization, it will
consolidate our reputation as the International Centre of Excellence in Vibration Monitoring."
Introducing new SE switching enclosures for online expansion
Key features include the ability to terminate cabling for on-line systems.
In addition to the popular BNC and 2 Pin MS connector for portable data collection readings.
Termination is assisted by using quick release sprung loaded terminals, these are also used for the on-line
expansion facility.
The low power HS-104 integral cableEnhancing the existing range of low voltage sensors which typically connect to traditional portable battery powered devices, the new HS-104 now has an IP68
integral cable.
This family is becoming very popular with the growing number of wireless sensor providers. The current
consumption is very low but still gives a good frequency range compared to traditional
accelerometers. Also available in capsule form is the HS-004 for customers looking to package their own
products.
