Hello to all potential sponsors for Oakland Pride 2020!

I am writing to you on behalf of Oakland Pride, a 501(c)3 nonprofit that is responsible for putting on the East Bay’s largest LGBTQ celebration. As a co-chair of the Oakland Pride boardm I would like to welcome you to join us in sponsoring this incredible event. Last year, Oakland Pride welcomed over 50,000 participants, as well as over 200 vendors and community exhibitors. Our parade featured nearly 100 contingents, and was followed by our 10th annual Pride festival.

This year, we are celebrating 11 years of Oakland Pride, which will take place on Sunday, September 13th, 2020. We are looking forward to making this our biggest and best Pride event yet, and we need the support of our community and our incredible sponsors to make it happen. We have some major develop-ments in the works that are specifically oriented toward increasing the reach of our events, as well as the scope of Oakland’s LGBTQ community that we are able to serve. We added more stages to the festival itself, which already features a main stages, community stage, women’s stage, and a Latinx stage.

Oakland Pride is the largest LGBTQ celebration in the East Bay, and features the largest LGBTQ Family Area in the country. Our goal is to reflect the signifi-cantly diverse, vibrant Oakland community that we serve, and to provide a safe, fun and celebratory space for our LGBTQ friends, neighbors, and fami-lies. Our sponsorship offerings include a variety of opportunities to reach over 150,000 people we engage with through our website, events, email, social media, and other platforms.

An event of this scale is not possible without the incredible support of our community and our sponsors. Now more than ever, we must come together and celebrate both the things that make us different and the community that brings us all together and one.

Oakland Pride collaborates with a host of organizations that help our commu-nity.
