I believe that teachers andeducators are the building blockof every society and country.
They shape the futuregeneration and understand thatevery student is special and fullof abilities.
Dear kids, each one of you isunique. So never try to copy eachother. Start thinking big. Because, your thinking has the power tochange the world and making thisworld better place for everyone.
We are confident that ourstudents will learn from the best, will become the best and willcontribute best in the truesttradition of MARIAN.
ABRAHAMSPEAKS
Not by my merit, but by Hisgrace, am I given this opportunity topen this article. For the past twelveYears, I have spent the lion share ofmy walking hours within the walls ofMarian School. Right from LKG,When my parents say I howled in thatclass, up to 10th standard under myfirm, Marian has been my secondhome. Through all these years, God’smercy stood as a shield againstmisfortune for me.
Marian is melting pot ofchildren of diverse talents, accademics, Sports and Arts beingregarded with equal importantce. Myteachers opened for me doors ofknowledge to various subjects. Theywalked me through the wonders andmysteries of each new chapter. Theylucidly explained and encouraged usto question and clarified our doubts. They applauded when we did rightthink, they chided when we strayed. They elicited discipline without beingdictatorial. My teachers at Marian areamong the best teachers, that I willever have.

ANAKHA’S STORYWalking up thestairs, I Wondered, how my next fewyears would turn out
to be in this school. But, today after4 years, stepping out of Marian wasthe hardest thing for me to do. WhenI Proudly say that I am a Marianite, deep inside I know that if I haveturned out to be a better person itwouldn’t have been possible if Iwasn’t part of this family. Classroomaren’t just books, blackboards andteachers in Marian, but a whole newexperience of bonding, knowledgeand fun. Every child is motivated tounderstand and excel in their talents. The best part of our small family isthat our teachers know each of us liketheir own. Our school logo thatquotes “Domine Illumine me” thatmeans “Lord thy face to shine uponus” Today I realise that it is true aseach student in the campus is takencare of by God through teachers whogive us motherly care and a campuswith homely feel. And this is why, today I stand on those same stairs andtell myself that I am gonna miss everybit of Marian, and wish that thosedays hadn’t gone by so fast.
Marian Senior Secondary School,Kottayam. I was in science stream. Iscored 95 percent in my class 12thCBSE board exams. I thank all myteachers, parents and all those whowere behind this success. My teacherswere the backbone of this success, then my parents, without them thissuccess was not possible. I extend mysincere thanks to our principal MrsRajatha. B, our physics teacher for herencouragement, support and motiva-tion. My teachers continuouslyencouraged me, cleared all my doubtsand motivated me in each step.I really thank them. I was an averagestudent in my class. I took each examas a chance to improve myself andworked accordingly. So from manyfailures I got success. Failure is thestepping stone to success. Hardworkand determination never fails.
