The All Hallows Chapel, located on Central Avenue in Davidsonville~ was built in 1860. It is a large brick church in the Gothic Revival style and is an imposing structure in its setting of open fields and a tree shaded cemetery.

The main body of the churchras a long, steeply sloped roof. The west facade contains the principal entrance: a high Gothic-arched double door surmounted by a double band of projecting brick work which echoes the effect of a compound arch. This treatment is repeated over the narrow lancet window on either side of the door, and the triple lancets above the door and at the opposite end of the building. The west gable is extended above the roof ridge to a small bell-cot topped by a plain cross (which may be a more recent addition) • "'

The corners and side walls of the building have small buttresses with stone weatherings. The top edges of all of the gables are faced with stone and the peaks are decorated with simple small finials: a trefoil form on the east end of the nave and a boton~e cross at the end of the chancel.

The chancel is much lower than the nave of the church and it is crossed by a transept whose gable ends are flush with the side walls of the h~ve. A small vestry is attached by a hyphen to the north side of the nave. The brick work and materials indicate that it may be a later addition. The entry porch on the south side of the nave appears original. Many of the windows in the church have been dedicated and contain stauned glass images. Those at the west end of the nave are filled with simple diamond paned ~olored glass. The brick work on the entire building is done in conman bond with a course of headers every nine courses.
