Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) คอืไฟรว์อลลท์ีอ่อกแบบมาเพือ่แก้

ปญัหา เมือ่ไฟรว์อลลท์ี่ใชง้านอยูเ่ดมิซึง่กค็อื Stateful Firewall (หรอือาจ

จะเรียกว่าไฟร์วอลล์เลเยอร์ 4) ไม่สามารถตอบโจทย์พฤติกรรมการใช้

งานที่เปลี่ยนแปลงไป โดยการ์ดเนอร์ (Gartner) บริษัทที่ปรึกษาและทำา

วิจัยที่มีชื่อเสียงในสหรัฐอเมริกาได้นิยามเอาไว้ว่า NGFW จะต้องมี

คุณสมบัติดังนี้

l รองรับไฟล์วอลล์แบบเดิม (Stateful Firewall) สามารถตรวจ

สอบผู้บุกรุก (Intrusion Prevention System หรือที่เรียกว่า IPS)

Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) is a firewall that was developed

to be a solution when the existing Stateful Firewall (Layer 4 Firewall)

can’t cater the requirement as the user behavior has been changed.

In their report, Gartner, an information technology research and

advisory firm, defines the qualifications of the NGFW that it

needs to:

l Support the old format of Firewall (Stateful Firewall).

l Detect the intruders (Intrusion Prevention System or IPS).

l Monitor in application layer (Layer 7) and must be able

to manage both inbound and outbound traffic.

l Connect to other layers to enhance the security.

Let’s see how these 2 solutions work. In case you want to block

the Facebook access within the organization network, if you use

the Stateful Firewall, you will need to get all Facebook IP

Addresses and add those IPs into the device so that you can

control the usage. In case Facebook add new IPs to its service,

you will need to add those new IPs to the system - which is quite

complicated because, as a user, we don’t know when Facebook

has more IPs. However, if you use NGFW, you can just add the

command that you want to block Facebook access within the

organization network, the sytem will automatically update

l Block access to facebook to all employee except those

in marketing department.

l Limit the Bittorrent usage bandwidth within the organiza-

tion to only 2 Kbps.

l Limit the YouTube usage bandwidth to 1 Mbps and allow

the employee to access the service during lunch and weekends

only.

l Check which employee use most bandwidth.

l Etc.

On the backend, the firewall needs to always update the applica-

tion signature to get information of new application. The vendor

will be the one who updates the application signature and the

users just need to pay for the annual update service fee and you

can make sure that the network will always be secured. NGFW is

the tool to protect and manage the network security and works as

an add-on to the anti-virus programs that the organization installed

to it’s clients. The users will need to make sure that their software

will always be updated unless the anti-virus program cannot prevent

new threats.

Today, we need to save the world that has been damaged. Some of us turn to some simple methods like reduce the energy consumption by riding bicycle instead of driving - this is an interesting idea. That’s why we are introducing a special bicycle, the Eneloop Bike.

If you like sea of mist and winter flowers, you should not miss this place at the 144th kilometer stone, Nakhon Ratchasima. 7 km from the main road and it’s not far from Bangkok at all.

Here, you can enjoy the beautiful flowers and take photos - or you can get on a bike and ride to enjoy the site for free.

If you would like to be there, The Bloom is opened every day from 7 a.m. -8 p.m. (and opened until 10 p.m. on weekend). If you be there on Saturday, you can enjoy the Bloom Musical Avenue. On weekend and holidays, there is a cute parade during 4-5 p.m. Choose the activities that you want to attend! (Admission fee is applied).

เมื่อวันที่ 25 ตุลาคม 2556 ที่ผ่านมา เคเอสซีจัดกิจกรรม “IDC Open House: Another Step to The Future” เพื่อแนะนำาสถานที่ให้บริการ Biz Co-location แห่งใหม่ของเคเอสซี ณ อาคารคอนโดมิเนียมอุตสาหกรรมนิวเจนีวา เมอืงทองธาน ีโดยมวีตัถปุระสงคเ์พือ่แสดงศกัยภาพความพรอ้มของเคเอสซีในการรองรบัการขยายตวัของบรกิารดงั

กล่าว ซึ่งคาดว่าจะเติบโตเฉลี่ย 15-20% ต่อปี

On October 25, 2013, KSC organized “IDC Open House: Another Step to The Future” event to introduce our new venue for Biz Co-location service at New Geneva Industry Condominium, Muang Thong Thani. The purpose of this relocation is to cater the growing of Biz Co-Location service, which is expected to grow 15-20% per year.

เมื่อวันที่ 15 พฤศจิกายน 2556 ที่ผ่านมา เคเอสซีเป็นเจ้าภาพจดักจิกรรม “KSC Family Day” เพือ่แขง่ขนักฬีาสานสัมพันธ์กับลูกค้าผู้มีอุปการคุณ ได้แก่ มหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุม และมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีมหานคร โดยได้รับการสนับสนุนจาก บริษัท ซิมโฟนี่ คอมมูนิเคชั่น จำากัด (มหาชน) ซึ่งกีฬาที่ใช้แข่งขันกันได้แก่ กีฬาฟุตซอล กีฬาแชรบ์อล และกฬีาสานสมัพนัธ ์ซึง่นกักฬีาทกุคนตา่งแสดงฝีมือกันอย่างเต็มที่ และสีสันที่ขาดไม่ได้สำาหรับกิจกรรมนี้คือกองเชียร์และเชียร์ลีดเดอร์ที่ต่างทุ่มเทสุดกำาลัง งานนี้ได้รับทั้งรอยยิ้มและมิตรภาพกลับไปกันอย่างถ้วนหน้า

On November 15, 2013, KSC hosted “KSC Family Day” activity to strengthen relationship with our valued customers; Sripatum University and Mahanakorn University of Technology. Thanks to Symphony Communication Pcl. who supported the event. We had a huge range of events ranging from futsal to chairball and games. The competitors performed to an exceptionally high standard in all events. It was an absolutely beautiful day which added to the enjoyment of this spectacular event.
