This is the time of year that we give thanks for what we have or experienced. I am thankful for all my neighbors who sometimes go out of their way to see how I’m doing and things like that (that one was for you Dick)! In my past five years on serving on the Board I am thankful for my colleagues who served with me. Thank you for all your support and wisdom especially as I took over the presidency. I am thankful for being able to live in such a great place as Oak Park Village and enjoy the community spirit that exists here. Many residents are from different areas but when they are here at Oak Park, we are all fellow villagers and friends. I am thankful for all our volunteers who help make Oak Park such a wonderful place to be. Many of our amenities we have are as a result of people volunteering for the betterment of our Village. I am also thankful that we have people willing to step up and make a difference in our community. Thank you one and all for what we have. As we approach our “busy” season let me wish all Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Holidays. May we all have a great time in Oak Park Village. LAMP POST HATS Many thanks to all the ladies that worked on the new, much needed red hats for our Christmas lamp posts: Barb Jason, Thelma Romain, Ruth Blakely, Carol Langer, Nancy Benham, Bobbi Jo Donahue, Deborah Noetzel & Lynn Parlee. Merry, MERRY thanks for helping make our Park look so festive this, & future, Holiday seasons!!
