conduct AAMA 501.1 and ASTM E 283/E 331/E 330 testing on their Non-Impact TU24000 Storefront in accordance with Florida Building Code requirements. The two specimens tested met the performance requirements set forth in the protocols. The results are summarized in Table 1.

5.0 Test Specimen Description: (Continued)

5.2.1 Frame Corner Construction: At each frame corner the vertical frame member ran through while the horizontal frame member end was square cut and butted. Prior to assembly, Dow Corning 795 silicone sealant was applied to each horizontal member end at the joint locations. The additional details of the corner construction are described in Table 4.

5.4.2 Daylight Opening and Glass Bite: Table 7 provides the daylight openings for each test specimen. The glass bite in all areas was 11.1mm (7/16").

5.6 Hardware: No hardware was utilized.

5.7 Installation: Table 9 provides the 6063-T5 aluminum receptors and sub-sills

utilized for each test specimen. Table 10 provides details of the test specimen installation into the steel test buck. The rough opening allowed for a 19.1mm (3/4") shim space in all areas with the exception of the head. The shim space at the head of Specimens #1 and #2 was 6.4mm (1/4"). The interior and exterior perimeter of each test specimen was sealed with Dow Corning 795 silicone sealant. Each head receptor, head or sub sill installation fastener head was sealed with Dow Corning 795 silicone sealant.

Conclusion: Architectural Testing observed no signs of failure in any area of the test specimen during the AAMA 501.1 and ASTM E 283/E 331/E 330 testing; as such, the test specimen satisfies the requirements of these test protocols. 6.2 Specimen # 2 Test Results: The temperature during testing was 14.4°-30.0° C

(58.0°-86.0° F). Results are tabulated as follows:

8.0 Laboratory Compliance Statements: The following are provided as required by the protocols for the testing reported herein.

Tape and film were used to seal against air leakage during structural testing. In our opinion, the tape and film did not influence the results of the test. Architectural Testing will service this report for the entire test record retention period. Test records that are retained such as detailed drawings, datasheets, representative samples of test specimens, or other pertinent project documentation will be retained by Architectural Testing, Inc. for the entire test record retention period. This report does not constitute certification of this product nor an opinion or endorsement by this laboratory. It is the exclusive property of the client so named herein and relates only to the specimen(s) tested. This report may not be reproduced, except in full, without the written approval of Architectural Testing, Inc.
