Abbey Machinery is Ireland’s longest

established manufacturer of

agricultural machinery and is also

one of the largest in Ireland today.

The Cavanagh family started a very successful

foundry business in Abbey Lane, Nenagh over

110 years ago.

THE ABBEY STANDARD TANKER RANGE CONSISTS OF 5 DIFFERENT SIZES FROM 4,000 LITRES UP TO 9,000 LITRES WITH A VARIETY OF TYRE OPTIONS AVAILABLE. The standard tanker range, as with all of the range options from Abbey, is manufactured to higher build specification - unique to Abbey. High carbon steel, inner welding and collared dish ends are all standard along with high grade materials used during the manufacturing process. All tankers are kitted with full spec including front sight tubes, safety chains, bottom outlets and much more.

RECESSED SINGLE AXLE SLURRY TANKERS

THE ABBEY RECESS TANKER RANGE HAS 5 DIFFERENT OPTIONS FROM 7,000 LITRES UP TO 13,500 LITRES. Along with the key standard Abbey specification in the barrel construction, the Abbey recess range has some class leading qualities which include full length chassis construction, weight sensing sprung drawbar, anti-movement internal baffles plus much more. The Abbey recess range has an extremely low centre of gravity due to the unique folded chassis construction which has the commercial axle integrated into the chassis thus lowering the overall height considerably. All Abbey recess tankers have the ability to carry any of the slurry spreading attachments available.

TANDEM AXLE SLURRY TANKERS

THE ABBEY TANDEM TANKER RANGE CONSISTS OF 6 DIFFERENT MODELS RANGING IN SIZE FROM 9,000 LITRES UP TO 20,000 LITRES ON EITHER SPRING SETS OR BOGEY SYSTEM WITH OR WITHOUT STEERING, WHICH CAN BE EITHER SELF-STEERING OR FORCED STEERING WITH A VARIETY OF TYRE OPTIONS. The Abbey tandem tanker range consists of all standard Abbey vessel specifications. All tandem tankers are constructed with the vessel mounted onto the full length independent folded chassis system providing unique inherent strength to the machines. Other key specifications include anti-movement internal baffles as standard and optional extras such as; weight sensing sprung drawbar system, weight management system etc. All Abbey tandem tankers have the ability to carry any of the slurry spreading attachments available.

Auto-fillAbbey offer optional Autofill’s which can be fitted to any tankers ex stock. These are ideal for contractors/large farmers and take down time to a minimum as you don’t have to leave the cab to attach hoses.
