From domestic fun like playing hide and seek, to flying across a rainbow held aloft by a bright bunch of balloons, Wibbly invites us into his simple world free from day to day limitations. Wibbly is fun, inventive, playful, honest, good-natured and reliable.

Side by side, Wibbly Pig and pre-school children explore familiar rituals such as bed-time, likes and dislikes about food, toys – and also play games like hide and seek. This eight-part mockumentary series, Pure Pwnage, tells the story of 26-year-old Jeremy (Jarett Cale) a.k.a ‘teh_pwnerer’*, the most obsessive and possibly the greatest video gamer in the world whose life is documented by his brother Kyle (Geoff Lapaire), an aspiring film director.

A child of the Internet, Jeremy’s devotion to the online world leaves him with an unfortunate lack of social skills – no matter how hard he tries, he just can’t relate to the ‘real world’.

After he is given an ultimatum from his mother to get a job or get out of the basement, Jeremy must leave the gaming world and join society again – only to find out nobody cares how many n00bs* he’s pwned!* Hilarity ensues as the series sees Jeremy start his own rock band, attempt to socialise with his co-workers at a grocery store, and run into an unexpected challenge at ‘Pwnageddon’ – the biggest video game tournament of the year.

In episode 1, tired of supporting her layabout son, Jeremy’s mom cancels the Internet and forces him out of her house, throwing Jeremy’s world into turmoil. Now his spot atop his favourite gaming ladder is in jeopardy! With his best friend Doug doing everything he can to help, Jeremy scrambles first to remain world champ, he’ll work on being less homeless later. Vito believes it’s his mission to spread the word that British produce is as good as anything in the world. He is scouring the UK for the best food producers to supply his new continental venture.

He hopes his treats will win over prospective customers from the heart of Italy’s famous food districts, but will they really swallow it?

Since the end of the Cold War military researchers have turned their attention from weapons of mass destruction to a far more precise challenge of finding, tracking and killing individuals.

Welcome to Stop. Rewind and a short history of modern weaponry. For more than a few millennia the best weaponry available depended on what size rock you picked up. Now humans can kill anyone from anywhere on the planet.

Military technology has spearheaded many so-called advancements that are now taken for granted – from the internet and hypersonic planes, to spy satellites and intercontinental ballistic missiles.

Stop. Rewind tonight explores breakthrough technologies that moved from the laboratory to the battlefield during the giant leap forward in technology from the mid-1980s to the beginning of the 21st century.

The program reflects on what the 80s and 90s generations thought future weaponry would deliver and considers what we’ve ended up with. Using images shot over the past quarter century Stop. Rewind also showcases some of the more hilarious and often hapless ideas that fell by the wayside.

Each weekly themed episode of Stop. Rewind shows the development of a tech industry, documenting how each latched onto new technology, materials, and designs to eventually become the common gadgets, goods and services we know today.

After looking at Robots and High Tech Homes in the first two episodes, Stop. Rewind tonight looks at innovations that really were a preview into the weapons of the future.

Chanee’s work with gibbons is progressing well – in the local town of Palankaraya, the illegal animal market has now ceased and Radio Kalaweit is the most popular radio station in Kalimantan.

Building on his local success, Chanee is now busy spreading his conservation message across Indonesia. Almost 1000 miles away, off the west coast of Sumatra, is the island of Marak - a tropical paradise with a lush, untouched jungle interior - the perfect site for Chanee’s second gibbon rescue centre.

Here he is trying to save 100 siamangs, the largest of the gibbon species. But just as Chanee arrives on the island, six of the resident siamangs have escaped and he must recapture them before these fiercely territorial apes tear each other apart.

Requiem For Detroit?


100 years ago the birth of the motor vehicle in Detroit heralded a second American revolution, unleashing forces of mass production and consumerism that shaped the 20th century, and powered the wheels of American success.

The car went on to revolutionise the geography, not just in Detroit but cities around the world, transforming the way we imagined ourselves and jump starting the American dream.

Built by the car for the car Detroit was the fourth largest city in the USA and also one of the wealthiest. It had the country’s first suburban shopping malls and major freeways to facilitate increasing numbers of commuters into the city.

But the 21st century has turned the American dream into a nightmare. The poverty amongst the inner city black community has increased, with hunger and unemployment reaching critical proportions, in grim contrast to the affluent white suburbs that surround the city.

Now it is truly a dystopic post-industrialised city with 40% of the land in the centre returning to prairie. Greenery grows up through abandoned office blocks, houses and collapsing car plants and swallows street lights, post offices and derelict police stations.

There is no more rush hour and crime, vandalism, arson and dog fighting are the main activities.

Requiem For Detroit? is a vivid evocation of an apocalyptic vision: a slow-motion Katrina that has had many more victims.

Powered by extraordinary archives with vivid projections of the city in its heyday on its now abandoned buildings Requiem For Detroit? is a leisurely and artistic look at the decline of a once great American city, the Paris of the mid-west.

Taking his cues from Hank (Dean Norris), Jesse (Aaron Paul) fuels up on meth before tracking down the addicts who stole from Skinny Pete (Charles Baker). At the ramshackle house where the pair are said to live, the only person Jesse finds is a 5-year-old boy the couple have left to fend for himself. And once he has worked to make the little boy comfortable, Jesse must quickly shift gears when the drug-addicted thieves finally arrive. Meanwhile, after speaking on the phone with Skyler (Anna Gunn), Gretchen Schwartz (Jessica Hecht) realises that Walt (Bryan Cranston) has told his family that she and her husband have been paying for his cancer treatments. And when he arrives at home to find Gretchen there, Walt discreetly asks her not to say anything to Skyler about his lies.

After getting the drop on Spooge (Davis Ury) and his girlfriend, Jesse demands that they return what’s left of the stolen meth and pay him for what’s missing. To keep Jesse from doing anything rash, Spooge offers him the cash contained inside a stolen ATM – one that he and his girlfriend took after killing the owner of a local bodega. But Spooge is unable to open the ATM, and Jesse’s frustration grows when he can’t crack its lock either. Meanwhile, over dinner at a Santa Fe restaurant, Walt does his best to explain to Gretchen why he lied. And in the wake of Walt’s accusing her and Elliott of making their fortune on the back of his research, Gretchen calls to tell Skyler not to expect any more money.

Despite their efforts to crack the ATM, neither Jesse nor Spooge have any luck. When Jesse isn’t looking, Spooge’s girlfriend manages to sneak up and hit him over the head with a bottle. However, as Jesse groggily plans his next move, the drug-addled girlfriend gets her own revenge on Spooge by crushing his skull beneath the ATM just as it spills its contents.

Cherry Healy’s life couldn’t have been better. Her TV career was taking off, she’d landed a great flat and she had a terrific boyfriend. She was the happiest 27 year old she knew.

Then she found out she was pregnant.

Pregnancy at this point was not part of her life plan. But it got her thinking: “Is there ever a right time to have a baby?” With just seven weeks to go before she drops, Cherry is off to find the answer.

She’s going to meet seven pregnant women all at very different stages of their lives – the 15-year-old school girl mum, the high flier with a C –section scheduled into her Blackberry, the desperate 40-something IVF patient. Combined, they’ll hopefully help her understand the fundamental change she is about to go through – from young, free and single to somebody's mum.

Felix (George Segal) is a nebbish bookstore clerk who writes at night.

When his neighbour, Doris (Barbra Streisand), makes too much noise, he informs their landlord she's a hooker and has her evicted. With nowhere to go, Doris insists on moving into Felix's apartment, which results in Felix's expulsion as well.

The two turn to Barney (Robert Klein), Felix's friend, and move into his apartment, but split up the next day. Missing her, Felix invites Doris to his fiancée's house, where they share a bath, only to be caught by the girl and her father.

Felix and Doris take their leave, deciding maybe they're meant for each other after all.
