Major heat is turned on Avon Barksdale’s (Wood Harris) crew when a drug buy-and-bust goes bad and leaves Det. Shakima Greggs (Sonja Sohn) in hospital with gunshot wounds.

At the scene of the crime it’s discovered Greggs had been unable to reach her gun to defend herself when the shooting started and because the street signs had been tampered with, she’d been unable to radio her proper location.

Wee-Bey (Hassan Johnson) reports to Stringer (Idris Elba) that the heist went well, but Stringer informs him that the woman they shot was a cop.

Later, a call traced to a pay phone connects Stringer to the crime.

Meanwhile, Bubbles (Andre Royo) is still straight and still waiting for Greggs to turn up with some promised cash that will help him get his life together again.

Deputy Commissionaire Ervin Burrell (Frankie Faison) is on the warpath again and orders a citywide drug search and seize operation on all known drug dealers.

Lt. Cedric Daniels (Lance Reddick) is reluctant to raid the drug house of Barksdale’s main supplier just because the police top brass want a photo opportunity to take the heat off the Greggs shooting.

Daniels concludes that there’s a snitch in his squad and tells Burrell the busts would compromise their case but Burrell wants the good press.

When the citywide busts go down the cops find a huge supply of drugs and money – some of which goes missing before it’s all laid out for the press conference.

Primordial dwarf He Ping Ping from remote China, the world’s shortest man, weighs the same as an average one-year-old. He is measured by the official assessor from the Guinness World Records, before being launched on to the world stage.

Britain’s shortest man, Michael Henbury has a seven-year-old son who towers over him.

Explaining what effect their height has on their health and what challenges these extraordinary people face when it comes to finding work, love and happiness, this program candidly reveals what it is like to be them.

Banned by the authorities and panned by the critics, they are loved and hated with unprecedented ferocity.

This film reveals the individuals that are two people inside a single artist, a permanent living sculpture in which they are compelled to be inseparable from each other and their art.

Gilbert and George’s motto ‘Art for All’ has seen them mount more exhibitions around the world than any other living artist.

Cole captures their groundbreaking shows in Russia, China and beyond while regularly taking viewers inside their home and studio created in 1969 in Spitalfields, East London.

beached az: The Bluebottle

beached az began as an online animation called ‘Beached Whale’ and is the story of a whale who finds himself beached on the shores of New Zealand. The clip was then uploaded to YouTube in April 2008, and became a household name among young people the world over.

Following the huge success of the viral video, the ABC commissioned a short TV series of 11 x 1 minute (approx) digital animations, where the whale continues his attempts to get off the beach, meeting some interesting characters along the way.

In tonight’s episode the whale and the seagull think a bluebottle is deaf when it refuses to chat with them.
