Ability to say ‘No’ ‘No’ is a simple two letter word that many of us are fearful of. Many a times we say a yes even when we want to or need to say a no. Many of our problems stem from our inability to say a No. A simple two letter word ‘No’ has many benefits such as it helps to set firm boundaries, it reduces stress and makes one more productive. It’s said that success in life requires a short ‘Yes’ list and a long ‘No’ list. Let’s see why it is so hard for some of us to say a No. The primary reason being the fear of offending others or in other words lack of self confidence. One of the other major reasons of hesitancy in saying a No is the lack of self belief, wherein individuals trust the judgment and decision making skills of other more than that of themselves. This lack of self confidence and belief is the result of an unbalanced Manipura Chakra.
