ABOUT DOC OPERA Doc Opera is a fundraiser and musical production organized by the students and faculty of Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) and the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine. Drawing talent from multiple health graduate programs, all components of Doc Opera are written, directed, and performed by students and faculty to create a memorable night of skits, musical performances, and dances about medicine and healthcare. The performance draws around 1000 audience members ranging from students, faculty, and alumni of the participating programs to healthcare providers, patients, families, and other members of the Greater Cleveland community. MISSION Doc Opera’s primary mission is to raise funds to provide quality healthcare and related services to individuals and families in our community regardless of their ability to pay, through our CWRU Student-Run Health Clinic. Doc Opera also provides a venue for creative expression and interprofessionalism among the medical and health professional students of Cleveland. ABOUT DOC OPERA Doc Opera is a fundraiser and musical

production organized by the students and faculty of Case Western Reserve University

health graduate programs, all components of Doc Opera are written, directed, and performed by students and faculty to create a memorable

night of skits, musical performances, and dances about medicine and healthcare. The

Doc Opera would not be possible without support from its corporate and small business sponsors. As a not-for-profit event, the show is entirely run on a

volunteer basis, the monetary donations provide a significant fraction of the

operating budget for the show’s production. Any net proceeds will be

donated to the Student-Run Health Clinic. Donations are tax deductible and receipts

will be provided.
