EVENT AND PROGRAM OPPORTUNITIES
ANNUAL EVENT CALENDAR
Each spring the KCK Chamber hosts their Annual Meeting for members and guests. This is the Chamber’s flagship event and brings together a cross-section of Chamber members, business leaders, elected officials and community stakeholders. The event features keynote speakers, special presentations and a luncheon hosted by the Chamber. Chamber members are brought up to date about Chamber accomplishments over the past year and goals for the year ahead. Members can sponsor a table or buy individual tickets to attend this luncheon that is held in the spring of each year.
The Chamber hosts our Best of KCK Business Expo where local and regional businesses come together to interact with each another, community participants and other organizations at our annual business celebration. The Expo incorporates business to business networking, our Grow KCK Symposium and the KCK Business Awards presentation where we announce the Best of KCK annual business winners. The Best of KCK Expo is held in September and allows members to introduce themselves to other businesses and organizations to showcase their services by sponsoring a booth, being a part of the Taste of KCK or partnering with the Chamber as an event sponsor.
ANNUAL MEETING
BEST OF KCK EXPO
The KCK Chamber hosts its annual Golf Tournament yearly in July at a local KCK Golf Course. A benefit event for the KCK Chamber, the annual Golf Tournament affords the opportunity for businesses to use this event to connect with clients or colleagues. Additionally, participants will enjoy breakfast, a luncheon and a dinner awards ceremony with prize drawings, as well as a chance to take on the course with other members. Combining the best of business and pleasure, the Golf Tournament provides the perfect blend of traditional tournament play with a modern twist at nearly every hole. Partnerships, foursomes and hole sponsorships are available as part of the Annual KCK Chamber Golf Tournament.
GOLF TOURNAMENT
MONTHLY EVENTS
The KCK Chamber hosts a quarterly informational meeting for members who want to learn more about the Chamber and how to get involved. We encourage our members to attend in order to meet the other members and the Chamber staff, introduce your business, familiarize yourself with the variety of benefits we offer and get connected! At each “Taste of the Chamber” we present an informal presentation covering all you need to know to get engaged and make sure your membership is working for you. Also in attendance at the meeting are the Chamber Ambassadors and our Partners. This event is hosted by the KCK Chamber, Country Club Bank and Humana.
Our monthly business seminar luncheon meetings, First Friday Focus, offer members the chance to network and receive informative business updates from a wide array of notable speakers. These events are held on the first Friday of the month from 11:30am-1pm at the Great Wolf Lodge who serves as one of our partners for this event. There is also a monthly host for each luncheon.
This breakfast networking group is designed so members can share what they do, ask for referrals and ask other business leaders for resources at the same time. This group helps KCK Chamber businesses to do business with each other. Members will be able watch their businesses multiply by applying referral and networking strategies that go beyond normal networking. Join other chamber members and Partner WorkWell Wyandotte on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:30am for breakfast and to find more resources and gain referrals for your business!
FIRST FRIDAY FOCUS
RESOURCE BUSINESS BREAKFAST
TASTE OF THE CHAMBER
This networking event is an opportunity for KCK Chamber members to meet with other business representatives in a relaxed setting. Each monthly Business After Hours is hosted by a different KCK Chamber partner from 4:30-6:30 in the evening offering door prizes, free cocktails and appetizers for all attendees. Guests are welcome, so always remember to bring your business cards and make new contacts.
This quarterly meeting gives Chamber members the opportunity to meet KCK Chamber Board members for breakfast and conversation. This is a chance for members to hear more about the KCK Chamber Board Agenda and visit with board members about business and community issues. This is a “first-register, first-reserved” event and has limited seating so members are encouraged to always register early. It is hosted by the KCK Chamber with a special thank you to our sponsor and Partner TranSystems.

LEGISLATIVE ADVOCACY
KCK Chamber members have an opportunity to be the voice of the business community on legislative issues by interacting with local, state and national leaders through the Congressional Forum. We are one of the few chambers in the United States that has such a program and it is currently the longest running Congressional Forum in the country.Congressional Forum meets the 3rd Friday of the month at the Reardon Center.
With Chamber membership, we encourage businesses of all sizes to become active in the Legislative Committee and play a vital role in assisting with local, state and federal legislative affairs for the community. Your membership provides access to be a part of candidate forums and special issues.
Please visit the Chamber website KCKChamber.com/Legislative to view our annual Legislative Agenda, or contact the Chamber staff to receive a copy of our booklet.
