ABOUT MONKEY BAY

MONKEY BAY WILDLIFE SANCTUARY is an environmental education centre that offers experiential learning programs and training opportunities while serving as a model of conservation land stewardship. The Sanctuary consists of 1,060 acres of tropical forest, riverine and savannah habitats and is protected home to a variety of bird and wildlife species.

Day 8: Caye Caulker

Marine ExcursionCaye Caulker is a 45 minute water taxi ride from Belize City. Group arrives in time for check-in to island hotel (double occupancy rooms) and group lunch. Afternoon boat snorkelling guided excursion to nearby marine reserve. Farewell dinner and last overnight spent at island hotel before departure to home destination following day. Students will want to return to Belize with parents in tow for longer family visit!
