KEITH HO FROM HONG KONG

“This school really challenged me and

gave me lots of opportunities to excel. The

homestay arrangement gave me the space

I needed to concentrate on my work and,

more importantly, to really improve my

English. I also got so many opportunities

to perform and entertain.”

Keith achieved A*s in Economics, Maths

and Further Maths in his A Level

examinations and is currently reading

Mathematics at Cambridge.

Joining us in the Sixth Form at Year 12,

our international pupils live with local British

host families and are therefore able to

become fully immersed in the English

language and culture. This homestay

scheme has proven to be enormously

successful and popular with our

international pupils, who value the support,

knowledge and independence that it offers.

The welfare, happiness and safety of our

international pupils is absolutely paramount.

Gabbitas Education run and manage our

homestay scheme and act as guardians for

our international pupils; as one of the most

esteemed and respected educational

consultancies in the world,

we feel that Gabbitas is perfectly placed

to place our pupils with trusted,

compassionate and experienced families.

All of our homestay parents have been

appropriately interviewed and police-

checked and all have a connection to the

school, whether as a parent, former parent,

member of staff or friend.

AYANO LEONG FROM SINGAPORE

“The school really helps with our integration

into the UK education system. Living in

someone else’s home as an alternative to

boarding seems a frightening thought initially,

but it becomes a place of comfort in no time.

We get to be up close with the locals and we

can learn a lot from each other. They are very

happy when I bring them good news, but

I can also confide in them when I have

troubles. At Norwich School I am thriving

and I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else

now. Being here has taught me more about

self-awareness and, of course, to be a lot

more independent. I wouldn’t have believed

studying abroad for the first time could be so

easy – there is a degree of culture shock and

homesickness at first – but now, I am just so

busy, there is no time for this!”

PETER KEI FROM HONG KONG

“Norwich School really brought out the

best in me. I had a really enjoyable time

studying my academic subjects. Doing

Fine Art at Norwich School was a whole

new experience. I also had opportunities

to explore many sports, including rugby

and hockey, which were great fun!”

Peter achieved an A in Fine Art, an A in

Maths and a B in Physics in his A Level
