Stockton is centrally located for artists from the greater Bay Area, Sacramento, foothill communities and Fresno. It is an easy drive! This is an opportunity to sell your art at an art festival with a highly successful track record. The guild has a very large customer mail- ing base and e-mail list. We will provide participating artists with postcards and a digital copy of our pub- licity to e-mail to customers, friends and to place on your social media site. If you want posters, we will provide that also. Sales: Artists are responsible for their own sales—check, cash or credit card, wrapping and bags. WiFi will be availa- ble. The location of the Spanos Community Center is near the University of the Pacif- ic and two major shopping malls. The facility is beautiful, has good lighting and has easy access for unloading, The facility is in an excellent high-traffic location and has great customer parking. The facility offers security for leaving art overnight in the room. Application & Jury Process: Prior Non-Member Participants: If you have previously been accepted in this show, you do not need to be juried in again. However, we would still like to have at least three (3) photos of your work (high resolution) to use for our publicity. Non-member artists who are applying for the first time to this show, must be juried into the show. Please submit three (3) high resolution digital photos of your work by e- mail or on a CD with your application. This is a quality art sale and the jury process will be used to maintain the high quality of the show. Confirmation of Space and the Jury Pro- cess: A signed, completed registration form and payment must be received with the re- quested digital photos of your work, in order to be considered for the show. If you are not juried into the show, your registration will be returned to you in full. The jury process will take place the week of July 17, 2017 and you will be notified of acceptance or non-acceptance. Eligibility: ONLY original work, handmade by the artist is eligible for the event. (Absolutely no seconds.) Pricing: Pricing should reflect that of fine arts or high quality work. This is not a “seconds” sale event. IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT PHOTOS: Photos must be of high quality resolution with plain back- ground (no wrinkled or printed fabrics, or other dis- tracting backgrounds). Please include only one (1) piece per photo. Not all artist photos will be used in publicity. If you are a returning non-member artist, please submit photos of new art.

Ceramics (functional, sculptural, decora-tive & garden), Glass, Jewelry, Metal, Mixed Media, Paintings, Photography, Weaving/Textiles (Wearable Art ) and Wood.

Stockton is centrally located for artists

from the greater Bay Area, Sacramento, foothill communities and Fresno. It is an easy drive!

This is an opportunity to sell your art at an art festival with a highly successful track record.

Pieces are displayed entirely at the participant’s own risk, and the participant will not be reimbursed for damaged or missing pieces. Artists agree to the San Joaquin Potters Guild’s use of any photographs taken for publicity of the event. This release re-mains valid throughout the show.
