ABOUT US. UKRAINIAN ORGANICS

Ukrainian Organics is one of the biggest manufacturers of 100% organic soil improvers and fertilizers based on sapropel in Europe.

The company covers a full technical cycle of sapropel extraction, process-ing, packing and bulk sales. The factory is located in the Volyn region of Western Ukraine and operates a facility with production capacities of up to 20 000 tons annually. Our equipment, extraction and manufacturing technologies comply with the European standards for organic production.

The company’s structure consists of Volynsaprofos LLC (Production Facility which was established in 2003) and Ukrainian Organics LLC (Sales Company) with head office in the capital of Ukraine – Kiev.

Our soil improvers and fertilizers are based on sapropel – centuries-old bottom sediments of freshwater lakes, which were formed from dead aquatic vegetation, remnants of living organisms, plankton, and soil hu-mus particles containing a large amount of organic matter, humus. Our soil improvers and fertilizers are universal and perfectly fit the require-ments of any type of soil.

ABOUT “SAPROPEL” - MAIN INGRIDIENT of our ORGANIC FERTILIZERS

Sapropel, bottom deposits of fresh water bodies, is extracted from the unique Sinove Lake (9000-year-

old lake) in Western Ukraine in ecologically clean area far away from civilization. Content and characteristics of sapropels from various deposits are very different and depend on the productivity of the water body, character-istics of the aboveground water flow and climatic condi-tions. It is generally accepted that sapropels are freshwa-ter sediments with concentration of organic matter above 10%; otherwise these sediments are regarded as highly ashy lake sediments. There are 3 classes of sapropel: Class C (10-30% of organics), Class B (31-59% of organics) and Class A (60-92% of organics). Sapropel from Sinove lake (Western Ukraine) has got organic content between 61% and 90% and has been recognized as “class A” sapropel.

Meanwhile sapropel, despite its great advantage over peat due to its su-

perior agrochemical characteristics, has not been widely used because of numerous difficulties connected with its mining and processing. Because of successful coopera-tion with German engineers our factory has been renovated to ISO-standard produc-tion facility. Based on cutting-edge German technologies sapropel is mined nowadays from the bottom of the lake and is success-fully transformed into a free running 100% organic fertilizer – Saprolife™.

Sapropel is extracted from the bot-tom of the unique Sinove Lake (9000 years old lake) in Western Ukraine in an ecologically clean area far away from civilization. The untouched virgin nature has cre-ated the best organic fertilizer over the course of hun-dreds of years. Saprolife™ is very effective in improving of soil and allowing for magnificent growth of crops. Saprolife™ transforms poor, sandy soil into fertile soil where it’s possible to grow many types of plants for farming, landscaping, urban greenery, flower-growing and gardening.

Effect on growing process: Saprolife™ speeds up metabolism of plants. As a result the crop will increase by 50-80%.

Effect on quality of harvested crop: up to 30% increase of vitamins and useful microelements in fruits and vegetables. Slightly better taste and shelf life of harvested crop.

Effect on seeds germination: Saprolife™ activates growing points and enhances mitotic activity during cell division.

Effect on soil structure:а) Saprolife™ keeps humidity in the soil so that requires 40-50% less watering then other types of fertilizers (traditional manure, NPK etc.)b) Due to its unique organic ingredients Saprolife™ changes the soil itself, year by year, even from sand to fertile soil by creating the humus.c) Saprolife™ inactivates and utilizes toxic substances in the soil (nicotine, phenol etc).

APPLICATION of SAPROLIFE ™

Mentioned dosage is general. To calculate exact dosage level of PH, organics, Nitrogen, Potassium, Calcium and Phosphorus should be provided.

For open fields and landscaping:for 1 ha mix 10 cm of top-soil with15-30 ton of Saprolife™.1 ton = 10,000 m2

For gardens and flower-growing:For 1m2 mix 10cm of top-soil with3-6 litres of Saprolife™.1 litre = 0,5 kg.

For trees (citrus, palm, date etc.):Mix 1 part of Saprolife™ with 3 parts of local soil

under each tree.
