FEATUREDGUESTSRick is the missional evangelism/discipleship team leader for the Missouri Baptist Convention. He is responsible for partnership mission strategies/partnerships, church evangelism, Great Commission discipleship, disaster relief, and WMU.

Rick was born into the family of God and called

into Christian service in 1978. Since then, he has served as senior pastor of churches in Missouri and Arkansas and in a church-planting role in Tennessee.

As pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Neosho, MO, he developed partnerships with International Mission Board missionaries to engage the people of West Africa. God soon turned the call on Rick’s life to “Call-Out the Called” through local churches, serving as mission awareness director for the Illinois Baptist State Association and now at the Missouri Baptist Convention.

Rick holds a B.A. degree in Bible from Missouri Baptist University, and both a master of divinity and doctor of ministry from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary.

He and his wife, Sandra, have two children and reside in Jefferson City.

By the time Travis was a teenager – his love for music firmly established – the Lord made His calling on Travis’ life very clear. Travis surrendered to ministry and he’s known the joy of serving the Lord and leading His people in worship since 1992.

Over the years Travis has written and arranged

projects for choirs and praise teams and felt nothing short of astonished by the opportunities he’s had to work with creative, inspiring people such as Max Lucado, Amy Grant, Cindy Morgan. He’s been able to perform and record in places such as Carnegie Hall and Abbey Road.

For the last sixteen years, Travis has served as worship leader for Beth Moore’s Living Proof Live conferences. He and his team have been grateful to minister with Mrs. Moore in all 50 states and in several other countries as well.

Travis serves as worship pastor at Englewood Baptist Church in Jackson, TN. He and his wife, Angela, have been married for 20 years, and have 3 children – Jack, 17; Lily Kate, 13; and Levi, 11; and a dog – Flash, 12.
