Coin – is a cryptocurrency having a separate blockchain.

Masternode – is a technology used by coins to increase the decentralization of the network and to implement anonymous and instant transactions. The Masternode is a network server that requires a set quantity of coins to run. For the holders of Masternodes, a reward is set in the blockchain algorithm of the coin. Thus, coins supporting Masternodes could be an excellent source of passive income.

Examples of coins supporting Masternode technology: Dash, Pivx, Smartcash.

Proof of stake (PoS) – is a method of coin mining. Rewards for finding blocks are distributed randomly between coin holders. Thus, anyone who has the required number of coins for PoS implementation can receive rewards.

Examples of coins with PoS technology support: Waves, Stratis, NXT.

ROI – Annual return of investment. Usually referred to masternode coins and has daily ROI, which is extrapolated on the whole year.

MIDAS – shown in capitals, refers to the MIDAS coin, and not to be confused with Midas (the brand) or Midas.Investments (the investment platform).

Introduction Midas.Investments platform started in January 2018 as a service that administered Masternodes offering investment solutions on a collective basis. Investors transferred coins that support the technology of Masternodes offered through the service to generate income proportionally to their investments.

Midas.Investments revolutionised the industry and pioneered two investment options: instant shares and reinvestment.

As a result of these innovations, Midas.Investments quickly became one of the most popular shared masternode services and boasted more than 1000 users, supporting hundreds of masternodes and managed investor funds exceeding 60 Bitcoin (BTC) one month after launch.

The service continued to grow, and six months after launch, the Midas.Investments community grew to 4300 members and 550 investors who invested in 52 projects offered through our service, with new instant shares being added weekly. During this time, the Midas.Investments team grew to ten professionals each offering experience and knowledge to their roles.

In summer 2018, Midas.Investments rebranded and launched the next pioneering feature; a safe and secure investment management platform. The platform allowed investors to instantly review, manage and tailor the service to meet their requirements providing a clean and understanding UI on the front-end, and innovative regular automatic payouts through the back-end.

To complement functionality of the platform, Midas.Investments introduced the MIDAS coin, to be tightly bound to the platform and future services provided by Midas. The platform provides long term utility for the coin, and through the buy-back scheme, profits made by Midas are invested back to support MIDAS as an independent investment instrument.

Instant shares allow an investor to invest any amount of coins in the Masternode and receive a reward from their share immediately.

Reinvestment management gives the investor the opportunity to automatically reinvest earned rewards to their share, increasing the rate of share increase and rewards through compound interest.

Midas.Investments PlatformMidas.Investments is an automated instant shared masternode platform, providing a variety of industry leading features for masternode investors and coin developer.

The primary purpose of the platform is to increase the efficiency of masternode investments. To achieve this, Midas have introduced and are developing a variety of features:

1. Instant shares

When a project lists with Midas, the platform has a functioning masternode set up and paying rewards, enabling an investor to instantly receive rewards as soon as their investment is sent. When an investor deposits coins, they are assigned to the open masternode, receiving a proportionate share of the rewards. Once the masternode is 100% full and enough coins are held by Midas equal to two masternodes, a second node is established, thus always leaving an Instant Share masternode open to receive new investments and providing instant rewards. This structure is repeated to open a third, fourth or thirtieth masternode. Any coins not locked in to a masternode are used for Proof-of-Stake mining, if the coin offers PoS algorithm.

Midas.Investments currently offer more than 40 coins using the Instant Share feature, making the platform the only Instant investment platform on the market.

2. Instant withdrawal and automated deposits

Midas has provided further innovation to the shared masternode industry by becoming the first to offer instant withdrawals and automated deposits. At the request of the investor, a withdrawal in actioned automatically by the platform immediately sending the requested about to your registered wallet address. When opening a share in a coin, the platform automatically creates a wallet address unique to you, enabling your investment to be automatically assigned once received. This provides a truly instantaneous experience for investors and removes any potential for human error.

3. Automatic payouts

The Midas.Investments platform is fully automated, offering multiple daily reward payouts. Depending on the coin, payouts occur every six or twelve hours meaning payouts occur with greater predictability and frequency compared to holding a masternode independently.

4. Reinvestment

Midas offers reinvestments options allowing investors to reinvest earned rewards to increase their share thus increasing their share in a masternode and rewards earned from that masternode. By reinvesting their share, investors build their share at an increasing rate through compound interest. To build on this feature, Midas introduced scaled reinvestment capabilities giving investors full control over their funds and rewards to enable partial reinvestment and partial withdrawal of earned shares.

5. Coin rating

Aimed at assisting investors, Midas.Investments evaluate every project listed on the platform. We have developed a closed algorithm to objectively rate the progress of a project to provide investors with a ranking based on project potential and risk-reward profile. The algorithm will analyse a projects product/service, team, progress and back-end fundamentals to provide an efficient starting point to conduct one’s own research.

1. Discord and Telegram bots

The primary goal at Midas is to provide investors with a platform that is easy and efficient to use. By introducing Discord and Telegram bots, investments can be simply managed anywhere providing seamless functionality alongside the platform. The bots provide investors with an alternative method of fund management - and allows for the efficient management of deposits, withdrawals and scaled reinvestment options. The bots communicate with the platform, however prior registration on the platform will not be required. This allows the bots to be used as wallets for multiple masternode projects and opens the ability to become seamlessly integrated to outside communities. This pioneering functionality would allow the Midas bots to be integrated to every Discord and Telegram masternode community providing outside investors the opportunity for simple masternode investment management without registering with Midas and managed directly from their tablet or smartphone.

2. Referrals

Midas will soon support user referrals providing each user with a unique referral link. For any new investors brought to the platform through their referral link, they will receive 20% of the fees paid from the new investor. This is aimed at providing our community with a solution to increase their passive income and implements a stable marketing channel for the platform.

3. BTC in - BTC out

The concept of «BTC in - BTC out» will complete the masternode investment ecosystem, and will be provided exclusively for the projects listed to our platform. Directly through the platform investors have the ability to buy and sell coins with BTC even having the option to immediately and automatically sell rewards after receiving them. In effect, this creates an ecosystem of mining Bitcoin rather than a coin itself.

4. Exclusive commercial partnerships

Midas work closely with projects listed to our platform in order to help achieve growth for the benefit of the project, our mutual investors and Midas. Each coin listed on Midas.Investments is dedicated to one of three tiers. The tier is decided by the overall dollar income that masternode produce. First tier has the highest income and the third has the lowest. Each coin can be moved down the tiers with the decrease of daily income. The difference between tiers and the benefit of using Midas coin are stated below.

2. Listing on Midas.Investments platform

Fees for projects to list to the Midas.Investments platform are charged in MIDAS, and a project will be required to pay MIDAS equal to one masternode to offer their coin as an Instant Share via our platform.

As our platform, service and community grows we are staggering our listing fees. During our growth phase through Q4 2018 and early 2019, Midas.Investments will be gradually increasing our listing fee from 250 MIDAS (October & November 2018) to meet the growth and development of both platforms to 1000 MIDAS in February 2019.

After introducing listing fees on the launch of Midas.Investments we have received vast demand for projects to list to the platform, and have so far chosen to partner with ten projects we have identified as having long term potential who have paid in MIDAS to list to the platform. In return for listing to Midas.Investments a project receives a close partnership with Midas aimed at achieving growth and development for the project which focuses on:

The MIDAS buy-back and burn scheme

At the centre of any utility coin or token is the intrinsic connection between the coins value and the product that it represents. The use and value of a coin should be directly connected to the success of the product, platform or service that the coin is integrated to. The best method to correlate the projects development with the coins price is to dedicate a percentage of the projects income for the stability of coins price. At Midas, 25% of the income from the Midas ecosystem is used under the MIDAS buy-back and burn scheme, where we purchase MIDAS from exchange and burn adding additional value for every MIDAS coin left.

The team at Midas is focused on developing the industry leading service with innovative features with the use and value of MIDAS closely integrated with the success of the platform to increase investor demand leading to price stabilisation and value increase.

Through the uses of MIDAS as well as the buy-back and burn scheme, MIDAS is protected from a radical loss of value. Should MIDAS lose half its value, double the amount of MIDAS would be required to cover investors needs to cover services, and double the number of coins would be purchased through the buy-back and burn scheme. Likewise, if the price doubled, half the coins would be purchased. This price-demand algorithm allows for MIDAS to remain truly stable through the uses and utilities of the coin.

During the first two months, a total of 30,000 MIDAS has been burned, 14,000 of which has been purchased back through exchange from Bitcoin profits. The total value of burned coins based on an average buy-back price of 0.00065 BTC is 19 Bitcoins.

Midas.Investments offers a sustainable and scalable business model to continue to support the buy-back and burn scheme from profits made from the platform. Just some of the revenue streams include: instant shares rewards, service fees, payments in MIDAS, listing fees and advertisements. The buy-back and burn scheme also applies to profits received in MIDAS. As the majority of revenue streams are received in Bitcoin, MIDAS would not be required to pay salaries meaning the total amount of coins to be burned will exceed 25% of all MIDAS earned.

With a low total coin supply of 5,000,000 it is the team’s goal to continue to decrease the availability of MIDAS through the buy-back and burn scheme, adding greater value to the MIDAS left.
