ABSTRACT
PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk is a company is engaged in
several sectors of engineering, procurement and construction
(EPC), trade, real estate and manufacturing. One of them a
department which engaged in EPC sector is an Industrial Plant
Department. The Department is implementing industry sectors
which include the sub areas of oil & gas and industrial facilities.
Now, the project is being worked is gas drilling Sumpal
Compression ConocoPhillips (Grissik) Ltd in South Sumatera.
This Project implements the High Integrity Pressure Protection
(HIPPS) as safety systems in gas wells. A level of system safety
can be determined by obtaining the value of Safety Integrity Level
(SIL) of the system through Probability Failure on Demand. So,
in this practical work was done for determining a value of SIL
HIPPS with Equation Simplified method. The results of the
determination of the value of SIL using SIL method is SIL 2 Based
on these values, the system has a high integrity level of safety and
protection.
