    Abul Khair Group is a one of the Bangladeshi industrial conglomerates.

    Abul Khair Group was established in 1953 by Abul Khair. Industries

    under this conglomerate include cement, steel, consumer goods, tobacco,

    edible oil etc. Their first business was in the tobacco sector when theyproduced and marketed Abul Biri. After a few years, they started

    expanding their business range to other business sectors. The most

    important company of Abul Khair Group is Abul Khair Condensed Milk

    and Beverage Industries Limited. They manufacture, pack and sell

    powder milk, condensed milk, juice, flavoured milk, tea, snacks and

    drinks.[3]

    Abul Khair Steel Limited:

    The company started servicing the market, supplying import product

    from the year 1972 and became the largest player in supply of

    plain/corrugated galvanized steel sheets in Bangladesh by 1993. During

    this time, the company set up four sheets to sheet galvanizing linesimported from Japan. CR steel coils were imported to produce

    galvanized sheets.

    In view of growing domestic demand and to make product of

    International quality standard, the company became a pioneer in setting

    up manufacturing facilities for cold rolled steel sheet coils and continuescoil galvanizing in Chittagong, Bangladesh. Today the CR Coils &

    Galvanized Steel Coils / Sheets are exported to 19 countries.

    Shah Cement Industries Ltd:

    Itis a diversified business unit of Abul Khair Group and is the largest

    cement producing plant in the country, with a capacity of 2 million

    tonnes per annum. The factory is located in West Mukterpur,Munshigonj.
