As per the reference (1) cited above, 8th

March 2012 (Thursday) is declared as a holiday for

Holi. Hence 8th

March 2012 (Thursday) is declared as “No Instruction day” for the University.

9th

March 2012 (Friday) will now be an “Instructional Day”. The Academic Calendar

announced as per reference (2) cited above stands modified to this effect.

As per the decision taken during the preparatory meeting held on 28th

November 2011 for

the 24th

Academic Council, it was decided to conduct the laboratory exams as per the

prevailing practice and hence there will be CAT and Term End Lab exams as usual for Winter

2011-12 semester. The Circular indicated in reference (3) cited above stands modified to that

extend.
