either in the arohana or avarohana or both (Yes / N o) h. Janya ragas that take foreign notes are called bhashanga raga. (Yes / No) i. Vakra Sampurna ragas are those that have sampur na arohana and avarohana

1. Write raga lakshanas with sancharams, graphs and two (2) compositions of any two (2) from the list given below. The ragas should be from your grade 5 syllabus:

a. Panchama varja raga b. Early morning raga c. Av arohana Vakra raga d. Prathi madyama mela with kakali Nishadam (12 marks) 2. Give the names of the chakra in the purvanga sec tion of the 72 melakarta scheme

which takes shatsuruthi rishabam (ru) and write the names of the ragas, serial numbers, mela and swara mnemonics. Give the name of the opposite chakra with the names of its raga serial numbers mela and swara mnemonics (12 marks)
