Advances in NZQA mappings• TROC/MROC are developing new Level 4, 5 and 6 ICT

qualifications.

• Ian Patterson has been involved with the Level 6 Diploma.

• The Level 5 Diploma is common for most. IT Essentials would cover a paper in this.

• The original level 6 Networking qualification for our area had provisions for 30 credits of networking with the rest common

• It has been agreed that Networking will have a separate qualification with possibly 90 credits of networking and the other 30 credits common.

• Suggestions are 4 CCNA papers plus CCNA Security, and CCNA Voice or CCNA Wireless or equivalents

Thank you.

Andy
