Professional Level

Philip Woo (P1 & P3)

FCCA, MIDPM, MBA

Philip has taught ACCA, CIMA, ICSA, UOL and other courses at educational

institutions both in Singapore and Malaysia for over 20 years. He specialises in

teaching auditing, corporate governance, and management & information

technology. He has produced first to third prizewinners in Singapore scoring up to

85% for both P1 and P3 papers. He has also received two awards from the

Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore (ICPAS) – Best Pass Rates

Award and Most Prizewinners Award.

Yap Kok Wah (P2)

FCCA

Yap Kok Wah has more than 28 years experience of lecturing in areas of

accounting and finance both locally as well as countries around the region. Since

1981, Yap has been teaching Financial Reporting and is proud to have several

reputable ACCA lecturers as his students. Apart from lecturing, he also conducts

in-house training for companies in Malaysia and Vietnam, such as British

American Tobacco Company and KPMG.

Daniel Ho (P4)

MBA (FINANCE), B.COM (HONS)

Daniel has lectured on Finance modules such as Securities Analysis, Portfolio

Management, Derivatives and Fixed Income Investment. Due to this wealth of

knowledge, he has conducted lectures in China, Singapore, Vietnam and Africa.

Daniel has been lecturing on Financial Management for various professional

accountancy programmes for over 10 years.

Ian Lim (P5)

MSc, CA (M), FCCA, CFP

Ian specialises in financial management and management accounting subjects

for ACCA. His exposure to the education industry has led him to teach in countries

like Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Vietnam, Brunei and Africa. He also conducts

ACCA exam technique workshops and Continuing Professional Development

(CPD) workshops in Brunei. Students of Ian have achieved first and second

prizewinners in Singapore with marks up to 86% in the subjects F5, F9 and P5.

Sivasathish Sivanandam (P7) ACCA AFFILIATE

Sivasathish is a Malaysian Prize Winner for the CAT exams. He began his journey

with KPMG and PwC, two of the largest audit firms in Malaysia. Sivasathish also

held leading positions in Multi-National Companies within Malaysia and also vast

experiences in Hong Kong and China. With his ability to speak in Chinese, he

conducts ACCA lectures in China as well.

Siva has vast experience in taxation as he was previously an employee of one of

the big accounting firms as a Senior Finance and Tax Executive. His lecturing

experience stretches across of ACCA, ICSA, MICPA, AIA and undergraduates of

degree programmes in both local and foreign universities.
