Due Diligence Checklist 

ACCESSIBILITYCOMPLIANCE

Overview

Thischecklistisintendedforfieldpersonneltouseasaguideduringprojectinspectionstoverifyaccessibilitycompliance.ThischecklistisNOTintendedtobeanall‐inclusivemanualfordesigningorevaluatingpedestrianfacilities.Thereisnoassurancethatthischecklistissufficientinagivensituation.TheinspectormustalsouseexperienceandknowledgeoftheAmericanswithDisabilitiesActandtheaccompanyingFederalRegulationstodeterminewhetheraprojectisincompliancewiththelegalrequirementsoftheActitselfratherthanthischecklist.
