Accessing NewsEla trough Google Classroom

Coronavirus Classroom 101

Step 1Access the week’s assignment by looking at the news feed on Google Classroom.

Step 2Read any instructions and click on the NewsEla link. There will be supplemental links available for you also.

Step 3Login to NewsEla with your Google Classroom credentials.

Make sure to select the Google Icon. If you don’t do this, your work will not sync with our Google Classroom.

Step 4Access your assignment

Step 5As you read the article, make annotations. Highlight the text you wish to respond to and then select a color.

Step 6Complete the activities for your assignment, and submit them to your teacher! A quick FYI: Your teacher will be able to see your progress. Attached is an example of how we see your progress.
