Accessories for your cricket needs
Cricket is a wonderful sport which fills joy and passion among several hearts. There is no one in
those who would even have the slightest of small doubts about the above mentioned fact because
at the end of the day, at every nook and corner of this world you are bound to run into a cricket
lover. There has been many adaptations for the game wherein, in some places people tend to
play with tennis cricket balls, hand cricket with bat, French cricket which totally has a different
set of rules etc. However, the most famous arena for playing the sport is the international arena
where players represent their countries or clubs and play with the cricket ball.
The basic essentials for playing the sport, is just the set
of bat, ball and stumps. However when you are playing
with the cricket ball, you ought to protect yourself
properly while you play. It is not a unknown fact that
cricketers have been serious injured or even died under
worst case scenario when being hit by the cricket ball.
It’s a hard 5 and half oz with pronounced seam
spherical thing which when hits, it tends to make you
feel a lot of pain. Thus it is very crucial for every expert
to emphasize on safety equipments before you get on to
the field to play the game.
When it comes to safety equipments (which can also be called as cricket accessories), you have
got cricket gloves, wicket keeping gloves, cricket white and colored apparels (as in some games,
it is a must to wear precise apparel meant for the game), batting and keeping pads (the latter
seems smaller than the former), elbow guard, abdominal guard, chest guard, thigh guard, elbow
pads for fielding, shin pads meant especially for the silly-point and forward short-leg fielding
positions, and last but not the least, the most important equipment, the batting helmet. A famous
cricketer called as Raman Lamba died of head injury while he was fielding at the short-leg
position and denied to wear a helmet while doing so. It was a different story 5 decades ago when
helmet wasn’t invented. We all have heard about the bodyline concept which brought both the
nations into political terms. People have lost their eye sight or even their careers after getting
injured thanks to the heavy cricket ball which is normally bowled at good pace by fast bowlers.
All these cricket equipments are sold at both wholesale sports shops as well as online websites.
The latter case is pretty simple and you don’t have to even move a muscle to do the purchasing.
A simple credit card would suffice and BAM, the products are delivered at your door steps
within couple of weeks. However, I cannot assure you about the quality of the product when you
buy it online and thus it is advisable for you to do a thorough research about the manufacturing
company and the website policies regarding money-back or replacement of goods before you
place your order.
