    Of the 41 work-related fatalities in 2003

    •39% (16) of the workers had been employedfor one year or less at the time of their injury,

    including…•5 workers killed during the first month ofemployment!

    •61% were employed longer than one year.

    Of the 41 work-related fatalities in 2003

    •38 were men and 3 were women.

    •Median age of these workers was 41 years.•Youngest worker killed was a 16 years.

    •Oldest worked killed was 75 years.
