ACE OF SPADES Gala RECAPOn the evening of March 11th, The Chester County Chamber Foundation hosted our Annual Foundation Gala, The Ace of Spades Gala.

Dressed to the nines, ladies wore their finest black, white, or red attire, and the gentlemen in their finest tuxedos. Complimentary gaming chips were handed out to guests upon arrival. Those who were feeling lucky had the opportunity to partake in the Wine and Spirits Pull. Participants paid a set price to pick a card at random and win the mystery bottle tagged with the matching playing card. Amidst the picture-taking and catching-up between old friends and new friends alike,

members went all in buying raffle tickets and placing bids in the hopes of winning the $1,000 Nordstrom gift card or the amethyst themed jewelry set by Walter J. Cook Jewelers. This year gave us a whole new group of participants as we used BidPal. So anyone who could not attend the event but still showed interest in participating could bid from their phone or tablet.

Between the black-jack and craps tables, roulette, and three-card poker, the Smooth Sounds of Steve Silicato was heard throughout the evening. After enjoying a delicious dinner buffet and prior to reclaiming their spots at the tables, guests heard from a handful of students involved with the Chamber Foundation’s Youth Leadership Program. The generosity of our supporters generated two scholarships for students in our program. This accomplishment served to remind

everyone of why the Annual Foundation Gala is so necessary and beneficial in giving back to the community and supporting the future business leaders of Chester County.
