Summer Excursion (2- 5 yrs) Come and learn more about your community through this fun hands-on class. Each preschool class will have time for play, songs, stories and crafts related to the planned outings. Class meets on campus on Mondays and goes on scheduled field trips on Tuesdays. Parents must be prepared to provide their own transportation and fees (if necessary) for field trips. Train Ride, Fire Station, Nature Walk/farm and bakery are planned but are subject to change. Or, even if you have mastered the basics of sushi, we will be preparing different kinds of sushi rolls that you may encounter in Japanese restaurants. Learn the Basics of SewingIn this class, you will learn how to adjust a commercial pattern to fit your body correctly! You will learn to start your sewing project on the muslin fabric. Before you actually cut your fabric, you will choose to make a skirt and/or a top. You may bring your own sewing machine or share a classroom machine that is available in the classroom. You will need to bring the following to the first class: simple A-line skirt pattern, muslin fabric (2 yards), ruler, sewing chalk, tape measure, scissors, seam ripper, clipper, needle, thread, silk pins, and thimble.
