PERFORMANCERESPONSIBILITIES:

SchoolLeadership

1. AssiststhePrincipal indutiesrelatedtoinstruction,supervision,evaluationandtheoveralladministrationoftheschool.

2. ServesasbuildingadministratorintheabsenceofthePrincipal.

3. Requisitions supplies, textbooks, and equipment, conducts inventories, maintains records, and reviewsreceiptsandpurchaseordersforsuchmaterial.

4. Assistsintheconductingofsafetyinspectionsandsafetydrillpracticeactivities.

5. AssiststhePrincipalincoordinatingtransportation,custodial,cafeteria,andothersupportservices.

6. GreetsandinteractswithparentsandvisitorsintheabsenceofthePrincipal.

StudentDisciplineandSupervisionofStudents

1. Assistsinmaintaininghighstandardsofstudentconductandenforcingdisciplinepolicies.

2. Assists in the preparation of required reports of violence, vandalism, substance abuse, and possession offirearms.

3. Assistsinschedulingandcoordinatingallhealthexaminations.

4. PerformssuchrecordkeepingandreportingfunctionsasthePrincipalmaydirect.

InteractionwithSchoolStaff/AthleticPersonnel

1. SupervisesteachersanddepartmentsasassignedbythePrincipal.

2. Supervisesextracurricularprograms,assemblyprograms,andassignmentoffacultymembers.

3. Providesleadershipintheselection,assignment,andevaluationofathleticcoachesandtrainers.

AthleticAdministrativeDuties

1. Organizesandadministers theDistrict’sprogramofextracurricularathleticsandassumes responsibility fortheschedulingofallintramuralandinterscholasticathleticevents.

2. Developsand implementsappropriate rulesand regulationsgoverning theconductofathleticactivitiesandensurescompliancewiththerulespromulgatedbytheNJSIAA.

3. Verifieseachathlete’seligibilityaccordingtoestablishedphysicalandacademicrequirementsofeligibilityforparticipationineachsportandobtainswrittenparentpermissionforstudentstoparticipate.

4. Preparesandadministerstheathleticprogrambudgetandrequisitionsprogramsuppliesandequipment.

5. Arrangesforthephysicalexaminationofallathletespriortoeachseason.

6. Maintains records of athletic contests and award winners and plans and supervises an annual recognitionprogramforathletes.

7. Assumesresponsibilityforthepropersupervisionofhomegamesandtheavailabilityofgameofficials,teamphysicians,andsecuritypersonnel.

8. Assumes responsibility for compliance with Boardadopted emergency medical procedures for all practicesessionsandcompetitiveevents.

9. Arrangesforthetransportationforathleticcompetitions.

10. Superviseall ticketsalesand fundraisingeventsof theathleticprogramandassumesresponsibility for theproperhandlingoffunds.

11. Arrangesfieldandgympracticeschedules.

12. Supervises thecare, maintenance, andstorage of all athleticequipment andsupplies; maintains a currentinventory.

13. Promotes good Districtcommunity relations and support through effective communication regarding theDistrict’sathleticprogram.

14. UpholdsandenforcesDistrictrules,BoardPolices,andRegulations.
